Star Code Lists
Here is a list of the Star (*) codes supported by ViaTalk.

*123 - Access voicemail from your ViaTalk phone.

*4357 (*HELP) - Dial this code to be connected directly to our live phone support line. Phone support is available 9am to 10pm EST Monday through Friday and 10am to 10pm EST Saturday and Sunday.

*67 - Set Caller ID to Anonymous for one call. Dial *67 immediately followed by the 11-digit destination number.

*82 - Unblock CallerID information (If CallerID is set to Private). Dial *82 immediately followed by the 11-digit destination number.

*69 - Call Back The last incoming call to your ViaTalk line.

*99 - Call Record Initiation: Dial *99 immediately followed by the 11-digit destination number.

*873 (*USE) - Listen to the minute usage for your current billing period. This includes any World Plan usage (if you have the VT_World Plan package on your account), domestic usage (if you are on a non-unlimited plan) and any non-VT_World Plan international minutes you have used.

*393 (*FWD) - Allows you to set, update, or remove your forwarding number without having to access your Control Panel.

*363 (*DND) - Allows you to toggle Do Not Disturb on or off
without having to enter a specific duration of time. The Toggle DND feature will take precedence over any Do Not Disturb entries you have active.

*746 (*SIM) - Enable and disable your Simultaneous Ring numbers. When you dial *746 you will be prompted to choose between your first or second Simultaneous Ring number. After you choose which Simultaneous Ring number you would like to edit, you will be prompted to select whether you would like to add/change or remove the Simultaneous Ring number.

*468 (*HNT) - Toggle your Call Hunt feature on and off. If you do not have any numbers configured in Call Hunt, you will be notified to log into your Control Panel to activate Call Hunt.

*255 (*BLK) - Block the last person who called you. After you hang up, pick up your phone, dial *255 and the number of the last caller will be read back to you. You will then be prompted to press 1 if you would like to add this number to Custom Call Routing. The number will be added to Custom Call Routing with the name "BLOCKEDFROMPHONE". Now any time that person calls you they will hear a message saying, "This number has been blocked." You can unblock the number by removing the Custom Call Routing entry in your online Control Panel. Numbers that are Anonymous or are not valid 10 or 11 digit numbers will not be blocked. If the CallerID of the last caller is not valid, you will be notified when you dial *255.
