Will my ViaTalk phone work during a power outage?
In the rare case of a power outage, if you do not have a back up power source for your high-speed modem, your ViaTalk phone will not work. The reason that your phone will not work is because you need a power source to power the modem which is the backbone of your broadband phone.

In the event of a power outage, you may enable a Network Outage forwarding number to ensure that you do not miss any important incoming calls.
