How do I setup my ViaTalk Grandstream HandyTone adapter?
Thank you for purchasing ViaTalk’s broadband phone service. Please look through the package you received and make sure that you find the following items:

(*) Grandstream HandyTone HT 502 Phone Adapter with 2 phone ports pre-configured for ViaTalk
(*) Instructions on How to Set Up your ViaTalk broadband phone adapter

Installation takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. To get your service up and running, please perform the following steps:

Step 1: Take the Grandstream phone adapter out of its box and plug your regular telephone into the adapter. It can be any type of phone as long as it is a touchtone.

Step 2: Plug your Ethernet cable into the Grandstream port labeled WAN and make sure the other end of the cable is plugged correctly into your broadband high speed modem.

Step 3: Plug another Ethernet cable into the Grandstream port labeled LAN and make sure the other end of the cable is plugged correctly into your computer or network router.

Step 4: Plug the power cable into the correct port on the Grandstream adapter and then plug it into a power source.


Step 5: Wait until the Power, WAN and LAN lights are lit.
