E-911 is an Enhanced 911 service. This service is provided, where available, to you as a customer of ViaTalk. When you call 911, all of your information is given to your nearest Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP). Enhanced-911 eliminates the need for operators to ask for your location because all of this information is sent directly to them when you make the call.
ViaTalk offers Nomadic E-911. Nomadic E-911 allows you to receive enhanced 911 services when you take your ViaTalk service on the road. Simply make sure your current address is updated correctly in our system, and everytime you dial 911 you will be directed to a PSAP local to the address provided. |
